Just picked this up at our local store because we love garlic. Treated my black bean burgers with this delectable blend of garlic and spices. It is fantastic.
It has the very essence of Indian food and with just enough spice to wake up your taste buds.
I’ll be putting this on everything for awhile. Big fan.

  2. Colleen

This sauce is soooo yummy. I am so happy with this find. It will be going on everything.

  3. Sasha

Just heavenly to relish on this. Must have in pantry. One of their best sauce apart from many others.

  4. SUZANNE

Just purchased tonight, added it to Trader Joe’s Soycutash frozen vegetables. Absolutely delicious !!

This is absolutely amazing. I saw the other reviews and was hopeful, but it was even better than I expected. I made some Trader Joe’s frozen garlic naan and used this as a dip for it. Highly recommended! It reminded me of like, tikka masala type of sauce but more garlicy and less tomato-y tasting. I love it! Can’t wait to find other stuff to put it on.

This stuff is like, the Frank’s Red Hot of random Trader Joe’s sauces, I’ve been putting it on everything

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I visited my local trader Joe’s this morning in Tampa to find out that they have discontinued this product as of April 2022. I’ve already reserved the rest of they have at another store.

I love products like this but this one was unfortunately stolen from an authentic Indian business. After working with Brooklyn Delhi for months to learn about their Garlic Achaar recipe with the intention of beginning to carry their product, Trader Joe’s abruptly stopped working with them and a few months later produced this product, which is the only other product on the market with the same name. It also has a very similar recipe and similar packaging. It’s so unfortunate when unscrupulous and unethical business practices are coupled with cultural appropriation like this. If you want to support the original small business behind this wonderful recipe, and want to support more ethical business practices, I encourage you to visit Whole Foods instead to get the original Garlic Achaar by Brooklyn Delhi. If you would like to learn more about the situation, it is available on NBC and other platforms.
