Absolutely delicious !! I’m not usually a fan of frozen flatbreads or pizza, but this one is really good. It’s quite rich, so one third to one half and a small salad or some veggies and you have a great dinner. It’s about$5 for one, so to me it’s a bit pricey if you are going to eat it all by yourself

I worked at a facility in Chicago where this product is/was manufactured, and the process was nasty!!! They also produced a lot of frozen food for Aldi, Walmart, Dominick’s, Schwan’s and Connie’s.

Not really a review, but more of a “hmmm..that looks amazing” wish. I’d love to try this, but I fear it likely has been discontinued.
As for Fernando’s review…well…there’s a reason why no one should ever know how a sausage is made. I too have worked in agriculture and food production, and it isn’t pretty. It is disgusting, in fact. But yeah…sometimes people just want to see the end product and that’s that.

Cooks fast about 8-10 mins the oven for a light tasty meal or appetizer. Savory combination of gruyere, ham, and caramelized onions to give it a balanced sweetness.

Excellent with scrambled eggs and cheese on top. The easiest meal ever. Many times this product is not in stock but we love it.

When I visit Trader Joe’s (which is out of the way for me), I will pick up different stuff every time but the one thing I will get each and every time is this flatbread.

Got this by happy accident because my store was out of the uncured pepperoni. Not surprised I haven’t noticed it before, since it was in the back of the freezer case. Love the rich cheese and super light crust. It would be perfect for brunch.

Maître Pierre is a winner –
Good for breakfast, good for brunch. It’s light enough that you’ll be tempted to eat the entire thing yourself.
TJ’s themselves say “Not in the mood to make your own pizza? Try a Tarte instead! Based on a 100-year-old recipe from the Alsace-Lorraine region of France, the Maître Pierre Tarte d’ Alsace defies categorization. And after nearly 20 years in the freezers at your neighborhood Trader Joe’s, each luxurious, eight-ounce Tarte continues to represent an incredible value. It starts with a thin, delicate, folded crust that’s fired for exactly the right balance of rich flavor and crisp texture. Then, much to your palate’s delight, each Tarte d’ Alsace is topped with crème fraîche, caramelized onions, thinly sliced ham, and Gruyère cheese. Bake it in a 450°F oven for 8-10 minutes, and you’ll have an appetizer to astonish your guests, or pair it with a Pizza Ranch Salad, and you’ve got a complete dinner for two.”
Definitely recommend the other two Tarte d’Champignon and Tarte au Brie et aux Tomatoes
This flatbread is the odd one out. Maître Pierre is stamped on the box and does not have Trader Joe’s labeled on it. I guess ol’ Joe isn’t bothering to hide the fact that their Tarte line is actually made by this quality French brand!
