These tamales are so good! I love that they don’t have cheese, so people who are lactose intolerant can still enjoy them. The chicken is shredded in a delicious way, and the green chiles are nicely broken down so you’re not biting into big chunks of anything. Instead, the flavors come together as one complete meal.

These “tamales” were nothing but masa – tiny slivers of green chilies, and a few corn kernels. No chicken could be found. I will certainly never purchase them again, and wonder why Trader Joe’s would sell such an inferior product.
