These cookies are pretty good, and they’re surprisingly large — I was picturing smaller, more bite-sized cookies. They have a pretty plain flavor, definitely reminiscent of waffles, with a nice crunch. Not very addictive and not the most delicious cookies ever, but if you’re looking for something plain and simple to eat with afternoon tea, these are a great choice.

One of my favorite all time cookies. Crunchy, sweet but not too sweet. Buttery and light. And I think they are addictive (I’ve had to cut back more than once).
Because of coronavirus stay-at-home rules and my age, I sent my granddaughter into the store to do my shopping and she bought the smaller caramel waffle cookies–not so good, too soft and not buttery. I ate one and gave her the rest. (It may not have been her fault as things are bought out a lot now). She promises to get the right ones if they are in next time. I hope so!

Agree with Wes. A classic TJ’s cookie offering. Crisp but a bit plain. I recommend the Butter Almond Thins over these. They go stale fast if you don’t keep them in a ziploc bag.
