This relish is/was a vibrant assertive Sweet Relish that is absolutely tops in tuna , potato, etc. salads. Have not tried it on dogs yet. Please note that Trader Joe’s discontinued this item in the 10-ounce jar and, a year or so later, brought out a similarly labelled 8 ounce jar. It is NOT THE SAME RELISH. It is a pale wan failure insofar as taste goes. I gave gifts of the older 10-oz jar. That’s how good it was. The new replacement in the 8-oz jar is about as exciting as a warm bucket of sweat. Don’t waste your money. Even Mt Olive Sweet Relish is much better. I bit the $$$ Bullet this evening and ordered 3 Jars of the 10-oz vintage from a merchant on Amazon at $30. That’s what I think of the old version. Don’t waste your money on their ” new ” one. Get the old version in the 10-oz jar only!!!! If you can find it. It is sweet, balanced and vibrant with a jumble of spices including cloves.I’ll guarantee your Tuna Salad will become as famous as Ingle’s Chicken Salad!!!! Bon Appetit!

Well the 8 oz. jar of Trader Joes organic sweet pickle relish I’ve been told has also been discontinued 11/2022. Time to find another brand.
