This ice cream is AMAZING!! The ice cream is the perfect amount of sweet. You can really taste the coffee flavor which does not taste artificial and is surprisingly bold. The boba is so soft. It’s the perfect chewiness and is just the texture this ice cream needed. As a real boba fan, this ice cream gets a 10/10 for me.

Wow – this is really worth all of the hype that I’ve been reading about it. I’ve never had boba before, and the texture sounded a bit intimidating. I also don’t love coffee ice cream. But this is the best coffee ice cream I’ve ever had, and the boba tapioca pearls actually go perfectly in it! I thought they might be too had being frozen, but they have an excellent chewy texture where it’s not like full on gummy bear hard-to-chew (especially in ice cream), but it has enough of a texture profile to be a fun topping.

The ice cream itself – no way it tastes dairy-free/vegan in any way, shape, or form! You would never guess. Great texture, great taste, and I love that it’s more subtle and rich coffee taste instead of super in-your-face and bitter the way that (in my opinion) some coffee ice creams are.

I highly recommend this to anyone who’s even curious or remotely thinks they may like it. It’s been sold out at stores near me constantly, and when I finally got one, it was one of the last two sitting out (despite all the other ice cream being fully stocked in that frozen dessert section).

This ice cream is most definitely a winner. It has nice strong coffee flavor, and it is not overly sweet. The boba retain their chewiness, and they work well here. One word of caution, for those who are sensitive to caffeine: there is plenty of it, so you probably want to limit your evening consumption.

Disappointing at every twist. Just looked like coffee ice cream and threw it in my cart because I was in a hurry. Tastes like chalk riddled with boba that are too cold to bite. Also, caffeinated for those who… want a breakfast ice cream substitute?

If you like coffee + boba, then it’s worth trying.

Trader Joe’s Cold Brew w Coffee and Boba Coconut Non Dairy Frozen Dessert was my favorite!
I DO NOT USE DAIRY PRODUCTS…
ACCORDING TO THE TWO TRADER JOE’S ON E 14th St, IN MANHATTAN: IT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AS OF LATE FEBRUARY 2024.
I went to 2) different TJ’s in NYC. One store was out of stock. The other store had 11 containers and I bought them all.
