“Mild” is putting it lightly. This was way too “tomato”-y, and not enough of the other flavors, spices, and ingredients that I expect from good pico de gallo. Just tasted like watery tomatoes.

This was a pretty disappointing take on pico de gallo salsa. I often do like more mild versions of pico de gallo (sometimes the spicier types of spices that get included in “hot” versions are too bitter-tasting for me), but this was not tasty.

It’s okay, but not particularly good. If I was served this at a Mexican restaurant, I would be very disappointed. Granted, TJ’s is a grocery store not a restaurant, but I’ve still had much better mild pico de gallo from other grocery stores. I’ll give their “hot pico de gallo salsa” a try – maybe I’ll enjoy that one more, but I would not buy this mild version again. Too tomato-heavy and flavor-deprived.

This is my all time favorite!!! I am very picky about salsa / pico
I like it mild with the smallest of kick. This is the BEST!!! Wish I could find the actual people that make it and give them high regards.:)

I really love this salsa, but you have to eat it within a few days otherwise, it ferments pretty quickly in the fridge, especially once it has been opened.

Many are rating this rather poorly, but this is a great starting point. You don’t have to cut up tomatoes, onions, etc. That’s already done for you. I’m trying to find the “missing” ingredient to give it that zing. Garlic powder doesn’t exactly do it. Some recipe’s use lime over lemon.
