Thin and runny and has a sour taste . Might be good is recipes that call for yogurt or in fruit smoothies.

My family absolutely loved this yogurt. It was creamy and rich, with just the right amount of acidity and would have deserved a 5 star – rating for sure. Then something changed. Our TJ’s store was out of it every time I went shopping. When they finally got it back in, the texture was changed and the taste was completely different. It’s a big disappointment. Especially for my husband and son who eat yogurt every morning.
I’d really like to know what happened? Could Trader Joe’s please explain?

I totally agree with Sunny’s comments about the changes to Trader Joe’s European yogurt. I’ve been buying it for years and noticed the change immediately after my last purchase. The texture has been thickened, and is less acidic tasting. Previously you could literally pour it out of the container. Now you need to spoon it out, one gloppy spoonful at a time. Very disappointing. I compared ingredient list and it appears TJs has added buttermilk to its yogurt recipe.

Delicious tangy yogurt, organic and given the sour tang – full of probiotics. Enjoy!

Surpasses the thick gloppy sickly sweet stuff available on most market shelves these days; needs that head of rich thick cream I used to so look forward to when opening a tub of Brown Cow yogurt (before they sold out and became just one of many bland tasteless yogurts). I like the pourable consistency and the no nonsense plain yogurt taste.
