Trader Joe’s Lobster Bisque Reviews
With butter, sherry wine, and fresh thyme.
Ingredients:
WATER, MILK (MILK, VITAMIN D3), HEAVY CREAM (CREAM, BUTTER FAT), LOBSTER (LOBSTER, SALT), BUTTER (SWEET CREAM, SALT), CORNSTARCH, SHERRY WINE, ONION, TOMATO PASTE, SUGAR, LOBSTER STOCK CONCENTRATE (LOBSTER, SALT), SEA SALT, CLAM BROTH, THYME, PAPRIKA.

I just came back from New England and was missing the sweet lobster. The flavor of the TJ’s Bisque seemed authentic and I tasted actual bits of lobster. Can’t compare to what ate in Connecticut but it sured helped my lobster jones tonight.

I thought I was buying lobster dip but to my surprise it was lobster bisque. I cooked it on the stove and it was delicious. Thick, creamy, and even some lobster meat

I am simply obsessed with this lobster bisque. To put that in perspective, I live in coastal Maine currently, summered on Cape Cod for years, and lived in Newport RI before coming to Maine. I know lobster, and I know a good lobster bisque. This is one of the best ones I’ve had. Period.

I thought I’d give it a try, and bought a container, every spoon full had lobster Cartilage, very little lobster meat. Very disappointed, not sure if the disappointment is focused at Trader Joe’s quality control or my luck on the container I picked out.
