There is NO such thing as a parmesan that is also a grana padano, as such I have no idea what this is. The fact that the marketing is false makes me fear that I would be paying for something I don’t want. What is it? Parmesan OR Grana Padano?

Love the GRANA PADANO, great taste.
For Greg, I suspect they had to add the word Parmesan to give people an idea about the type of cheese they are buying .

Grana Padano has an enzyme that Parmesano doesn’t. That is the only difference but a significant one. It can’t be both Grana Padano and Parmesano at the same time. This is a fishy marketing gimmick.

Grana Padano is not Parmesan Reggiano and should not have that label. 2 totally different cheeses from different regions in Italy. My husband bought it thinking it was Parmesan Reggiano. Wrong! Granted Grana padana is also delicious but the 2 cheeses have a different texture and flavor. Change the label! It’s decieving!

I personally don’t care if this is a Grana Padano or a Parmesan. It is freaking delicious. It is crumbly and the little cheese crystals (not a technical term) are sooo good!

Beware…: Grana Padano has eggs for those of you who have an allergy to eggs. (Enzyme from egg whites) not sure Why? Caused an allergic reaction for my child. Never had to check a cheese before to see if it has eggs???
