Love these pitas! Excellent in every way, especially in nutrition and texture! No seed oils or additives; not glue-y like most pitas; good protein and fiber. They last a long time in the fridge and also do fine if frozen. You don’t have to mangle these to open them. For best results, toast them just enough to separate the edges, then use a fork to open the pocket. Fill and eat, or return the opened pita to the toaster for more crispness. They hold up well with any filling. TJ’s, please, please do not change or discontinue this item! Well, making them non-GMO would be okay as long as you don’t change anything else!

I used to like these a lot, but they recently changed the ingredients/recipe: they’ve added sugar, gluten and white flour, among other things, and the result is awful: doughy, glutinous, sickly sweet with a bitter aftertaste. I hope they go back to the original recipe or I’ll never buy these again.

I agree with C Sherry, I have been a fan of the version in the picture for decades , went through 3 packs a week. The new version is awful, too much sugar, doughy. Not buying it ever.
