I bought this on a whim not sure if I would like it by the description (I’m pretty picky and “banana leaf flowers” or whatever didn’t sound that accessible), but it ended up being awesome. Comparable to the TJ’s Vegetable Panang Curry, which is also great.

I purchased this because I love trying unique foods that fit my lacto/ovo vegetarian diet. The food was very tasty. I really liked the green curry sauce and was perfectly spiced for my taste–I don’t like foods too hot, but this was flavorful without being too spicy. The GABA–infused rice was a nice touch since it’s unique and made the dish more healthy than it would have been with ordinary rice. Overall, the dish has a lot of saturated fat so I would only recommend eating it on occasion. The morning glory, young coconut shoots, and and banana flowers, while unique, were rather bland tasting and it was tough to identify what kind of flavor they had (if any). The coconut shoots to me tasted just like bamboo shoots and the morning glory greens felt sort of like kale, but less bitter-tasting. I wish I remembered identifying what the banana flowers tasted like, but I don’t. Really the flavor of the green curry sauce is what came through and seemed to overpower any other flavors in the dish. But I still enjoyed it very much.
