I just discovered this at my local TJ’s here in Houston. WOW! The reviews are right, it’s the best smoked fish I’ve ever had. Will be buying again (and again).

Very good but $2 more than what they used to sell which was “not their brand”. They used to sell the exact same item under a different label (not Trader Joes) for $2 less and it was the same quality. I eat salmon 2x per week and it was a little disappointing bait and switch.

I have been buying this a lot over the past year here in Chicagoland. I’ve eaten my fair share of smoked fish and I’ve got to say this is hands down the best piece of smoked fish I’ve ever had. Bravo, TJ’s. And at $8.99 for SIX ounces, it’s also perhaps the best deal on smoked fish I’ve ever seen.

I’m so glad other people love this product as much as I do. It’s always in my refrigerator (or out of stock in my refrigerator and I have to buy more lol!). It’s great cold, room temp, or even heated up as an ingredient in different dishes like sauces, pastas. My personal favorite is using it in a Wellington. Thank me later! Just like the poster above me, my kids absolutely love it. Especially since it takes no time to prep. Nice work on this one, TJ’s!!
