It sounds like these are pretty hit or miss for a lot of people. Some of my friends love them and have been raving about them, while another said that they tasted gross to him. I was curious enough to give them a try. I’m generally down with “everything” flavored stuff like bagels, and I’ve tried the “everything but the bagel” seasoning, though I’m not the type who puts it on everything.
When I first took a few bites of these chips, I was thinking I wasn’t going to like them. The garlic tasted kind of bitter and more harsh than I was expecting. But after another handful, I have to say, I was hooked! There’s something really intriguing about them that kept me coming back. I wouldn’t choose these over, say, salt & vinegar kettle chips, but they’re totally worth a try if you think you might like them based on the garlic/onion/sesame seed/etc type of flavorings and are a potato chip fan in general.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect going into it when trying these, so I’m not sure I can say I’m “disappointed” (given that I wasn’t that excited to begin with). However, after trying them – I know for sure I’m not a fan!
I love “everything” bagels, and I like the “everything but the bagel seasoning” that Trader Joe’s sells. But to me, those flavors just didn’t go well with the chips. Way too strong and too many competing flavors, and not what I’m looking for in a potato chip crunch.

Not good at all. It’s hard to ruin a potato chip but somehow they did. I use THe everything but the bagel spice when I cook, so I thought I was going to love these chips. I’ve told everyone at work – Don’t buy them
