creme de la creme of lettuce and should be treated only with a splash of extra virgin olive oil… a spritz of white balsamic vinegar…a pinch of salt and a glass of a fine CA chard!

*can if hungry add a wedge of nicely melted wedge of camembert or brie spread generously on a freshly baked baguette!…and of course another glass of that fine chard ;>)

It’s discontinued!! I am so upset. This is the BEST lettuce value around. 3 small heads of tightly packed leaves. Really delicious and nutritious lettuce for a very reasonable price. It’s a real tragedy that this was dropped… It’ll be a long period of mourning. I can’t stand those spring mixes and Romaine lettuce heads. So inferior.

This was the best packaged lettuce ever! None of TJ’s other lettuces measure up to the superior taste and value of the Smallish Gems – not even slightly. And WHY was this product discontinued? The customer service rep said no reason was given. Please consider bringing it back. In the meantime, I’ll be looking elsewhere for lettuce.

I have checked several Trader Joe’s for this lettuce and am disappointed to find out that they have been discontinued! This makes no sense since they are so good and a great value. No other lettuces or salad mixes compare. Please bring them back! I need them for my salads.
I wouldn’t even mind spending a little more on them if they were brought back!

Please bring them back! I CAN believe they were discontinued because the packaging was bland and they were always hidden behind other bags of greens (in multiple TJ stores). I always had to search. Can’t get a comparable product anywhere. So crunchy. Would pay double for these gems.
