I have loved the TJs Irish Breakfast for years, and a few months back I tried the Assam. I LOVE IT!! The Assam is my new go-to tea…its a perfect cold weather tea… the enhanced maltiness is perfect with a bit of milk 🙂

Been wanting to try Assam tea after an online chat over trying new teas. I recommended pu-erh for a malty tea and someone else recommended Assam as a similar tea.
Turns out Assam tea is just Irish breakfast tea (or this blend at least) and tastes similar to Numi’s Breakfast Blend tea but weaker. Open the box and you get many tea bags in a plastic bag. Once opened you’ll want to store it in a tin or your own ziploc bag.
