“These Trader Joe’s mixed nuts are raw and not salted, making for a super healthy and nutrient dense snack. At a price of under $8/lb, these are a pretty good value considering some of the fancy mixed nuts in here can be really expensive. Finding a mix with hazelnuts and pecans among other nuts is not that easy to find for a reasonable price. These taste delicious even without being roasted or salted, assuming you like the earthy and nutty flavors of each of these fancy mixed nuts.
I like to portion out a handful in a sandwich bag to take on the road for a snack, or if you are feeling super ambitious, you can roast them in a pan for a few minutes and add some salt or spices to them. It’s amazing how well all these nuts take on flavors from things like rosemary (which makes sense why rosemary mixed nuts from Trader Joe’s exist!)………….
