Just had a sample, so I don’t think they are seasonal. They were decent. Not as sweet as I thought it would be. Maybe b/c I had half a cooke. Had better shortbread. Just a wee bit sweet for me.

Okay you know those thumbprint jam cookies you ate as a kid? This is it but in sandwich form.
These are so much better than any store brand jam cookie. They tasted artificial before and after eating these even more so!
I can’t remember the last time a store bought cookie smelled so good and fresh! I could actually smell the butter in the shortbread upon opening the package. The raspberry jam in between is how raspberry filling should be. Some may find it a tad sweet but is easily balanced with some tea.
Trader Joe’s, please keep this as a regular item provided it’s the same quality of course!

Tried these back in November – loved them! Now that the weather’s beginning to warm up recommend putting these in the fridge for about 30 mins to get that slightly pliant chewy raspberry jam.
