Vietnamese simmer sauce, not made by Trader Joe’s but sold at many Trader Joe’s locations. Kho sauce is a savory fish sauce balanced with sweet coconut sugar and a touch of spice.
Ingredients: Water, Fish Sauce (Anchovy, Sea Salt), Organic Coconut Sugar, Canola Oil, Ginger, Shallot, Corn Starch, Green Onions, Citric Acid, Black Pepper, Sunflower Lecithin, Crushed Red Pepper, Yeast Extract.

Easy to use and a great short-cut sauce when you only have 20 minutes to make dinner. Put your protein in a hot pan and dump some sauce over and let it thicken into a sticky glaze. I added some chopped birds eye chilis in for some heat. If it’s too salty, add a little water to loosen up the sauce. Enjoy!
