Beautiful and when cooked to under 5 minutes was aldente and firm (and very fun!)
It is easy to overcook this one but it is beautiful and imo well worth the price

+1 for affordable organic pasta
It’s a pretty pasta shape to be sure but —
Maybe I haven’t found the perfect al dente cooking time but by the time the ruffles at the ends of the pasta are done cooking, the spiral part is still slightly hard in the center. By the time the spiral part is al dente, the ruffles fall off. If soaked for too long you get mushy pasta and no one wants mushy pasta.
Other than that, enjoy with your favorite pasta sauce or enjoy with some TJ’s smoked trout and sun dried tomatoes.
