Grew up in Northern California where Blenheim apricots used to grow everywhere in my town. In 1960s when I was born there still were many trees left. Sometimes in groves where families would self pick and then pay owner sometimes still standing and well producing although real estate was much more lucrative. These apricots are the absolutely best, much better than Turkish grown. Find Blenheim and you will never go back!! Traders Joe’s unsulphered are the absolute best, often sold out though only problem. BTW the town I grew up in is now best known for Silicon Valley. Wish it was still trees, life doesn’t always get better!
