These are actually quite good for unsalted tortilla chips; better than many of the comparable brands you might find at other grocery stores like Safeway. Great for crumbling into soup, or even eating just plain without any dip as a snack.

My husband has had to give up so many snack choices due to his heart condition and need for a much lower salt diet. Trader Joe’s saved the day. He can always enjoy his unsalted organic white corn tortilla chips and fire-roasted tomato salsa without limiting his intake. Our only problem is that the store we go to sometimes doesn’t carry these and since we travel to get there that is a problem.
