These are SO good! I didn’t think I would like them that much because “ketchup flavored” didn’t sound very inviting, but I was curious. I remember Trader Joe’s having a french fry-like potato chip (literally in the shape of french fries) before, and one version came in a ketchup flavor. That one was too ketchupy for my taste. But these are perfect. They’re really not over the top ketchupy at all. They have kind of a vinegar kick and then a paprika/fry-dipped-in-ketchup vibe. Not overly spicy either, though.
When I was buying them, the cashier said they reminded them of In ‘n Out fries but better. Sounds random, but I could totally see it! These turned out to be some of my favorite chips I’ve ever gotten from Trader Joe’s.

This flavor is top tier, but I’d prefer it on their usual kettle cooked chip. The waffle cut holds on to too much moisture — my bag tasted stale on opening.
