The transition from freezer to fully cooked didn’t give a great end result for these. They either tasted too ‘burnt’ or too mushy/cold inside. I love edamame at restaurants but this kind I wouldn’t buy again.

I love them, I’ve found best way to cook is just a few minutes in microwave with crushed sea salt

Our family’s go-to for edamame salad! There was a period where there was a shortage thanks to a crop or manufacturing problem. Makes me happy to see them in stock every time I’m at Trader Joe’s.
It’s easier to microwave than boil to get that snappy texture. Boiling makes them go mushy fast if you don’t watch carefully.
