“On the opposite side of sweet and salty, this snack balances sweet and bitter. The bite from the hard shell of dark chocolate pairs well with the sugary sweetness and pillowy softness of the marshmallow. Similar to the pretzel slims, the peppermint candy sprinkled on top adds a good texture. These have the same sweetness level as the Jingle Jangle Pretzel Twists, in the same way that I don’t think I could overeat in one sitting. Each box comes with eight marshmallows for $3.99, which means each piece costs approximately 50 cents. These would pair nicely with hot chocolate or coffee, and can also be enjoyed as snacks. Pairing these marshmallows with something salty, such as pretzels or plain potato chips, would also help balance out the sweetness.”
