More crouton than cornbread. No cornbread taste or texture that would be expected. More like crouton stuffing

Cooking per the instructions left it a bit congealed. Took a fork and mixed up a bit. Had to add some corn meal to it for the flavor. Also placed in a second pan to brown the top a bit for crunch. Not sure if I’d buy again as same took as much time to fix so it tasted better as making my own would have.
