Never knew TJ’s carried Applegate brand
The texture is wonderful, which is my biggest issue with other deli meats. I can’t comment in the flavor because I couldn’t taste it over the salt. Even on a sandwich, this stuff is so incredibly salty it’s almost inedible. Like you need to up your water to keep from retaining fluid. It’s great that it doesn’t have the other junk in it, but I guess they had to replace it with something. I’m not sure I wouldn’t have been better off with a little corn syrup instead of a salt lick.
