Very fragrant compared to the rainbow peppercorn. Black pepper is very pungent. Pink pepper is more floral. White pepper has a funky smell which I like, but maybe off-putting to some. I usually put the white pepper in egg drop soup or other Chinese soups. I have been using white pepper since I was a kid, so I’m used to the smell. They did not bring it back this year, so I guess it didn’t do well. I like this better than rainbow peppercorn. They are a bit more expensive than the rainbow peppercorn: $7.99 for the trio.
