This stuff is amazing, addictive, fantastic. I love maple syrup, but the extra flavor in this kind brings back memories of childhood in Virginia, where the scent of bourbon accompanied holiday desserts. I literally shout with happiness to see the big display of this fantastic syrup at my local Trader Joe’s each fall. I smuggle it into restaurants so I can pour it on waffles and pancakes, and it’s amazing with steel cut oatmeal. Next year I’ll be sure to buy extra bottles: One is nowhere near enough!
