These dumplings are superb! I was actually skeptical that these would be good seeing that they were frozen and needed to be steamed.

To my surprise, they were able to be cooked in the microwave. I bought a box to see how good they were. After putting it in for about 1.5mins, I opened the package to a delicious shaio long bao smell.

The juciness of the product seriously captured what I was craving….which was authentic shaio long bao.

Although shaio long bao are supposed to be made from pork, these are made from chicken. However, the flavor was exactly as how it I’ve had them at authentic Chinese restaurants.

This was definitely a pleasant surprise to me, as it’s usually a hit or a miss with TJ products.

These dumplings will now be my favorite thing at TJ! The only complaint I have is the price. At $2.99 a box for 6, it’s a bit pricey.

I’d buy the whole lot if they could do 2 for $5 or something…But until then, this is the product I’d be stocking up on, esp now that it’s getting cold for winter!

Love these! Never really had anything similar to them before and bought them on a whim because the premise sounded interesting/tasty — and I can confirm that they are indeed very tasty. Especially perfect for winter time.

Five stars all the way! I was a little bit skeptical because I hadn’t tried the authentic version of these yet, which I wanted to do before trying a microwaveable version. But decided to give it a try after reading the other positive reviews and since it was easy to buy while grocery shopping. I’m glad I tried these. Even just making them in the microwave (and in only two minutes), tastes like a restaurant appetizer.

These are going to be a new staple in my TJ’s cart! Would love to see them do a vegetarian/vegan version too.

These were so good; I never would have guessed they were microwaved. Even my young daughter, who’s sometimes picky, gobbled them down. Very delicious!

I lived in China for many years and am a bit of a dumpling fanatic. I find these good for what they are, a frozen grocery store product). Compared to the pantheon of soup dumplings, they are just acceptable. In other words, I would only buy them if I was craving soup dumplings and couldn’t get them fresh.

Surprised at the positive reviews! I found them bland and with a gummie texture.

    Amazing
Cook in microwave for 90 seconds
Put in pan on stove w/olive oil and butter. Let them sizzle a little. Add a tad of woreshire sauce!
