This was an amazing product about a year ago and before. Since it has been visibly diminished with increased fat content and the texture and pistachio content also decreased in value. Looks like the manufacturer scored the big contract and then cut costs to maximize profit. Where I once drove an hour to buy this and a few other products at Trader Joe’s, I now avoid this new inferior version.

I thought it was absolutely fabulous. I don’t know how it was before, but it tastes just like the Mortadella in Bologna, Italy. Put it between a piece of crusty bread. To die for! 🙂

Literally the worst mortadella I’ve ever tasted. Flavorless, no spices, hardly any pistachios. Tossed it out after one slice! If there was a quarter star, that would be my rating.
