Still contaminated with gluten, DO NOT BUY if you are allergic to wheat, have Celiac, Hashimotos, or any other gluten issue.

These USED to be amazing…I got them the other day and they are not as good…kindve mealy and MUCH smaller than the 4 to a package fish pieces I remember…(now it’s 8 or 9 to a pack)

Must have changed suppliers; these are not as good as previous years. Coating is very thick, fish nearly nonexistent. Give them a pass.

A couple of years ago this used to be one of my favorite TJ’s gluten free items. I know they had some issues, and now have a new provider/processor for the product. It is not near as good! The batter is a bit lumpy, and fairly flavorless – the fish has a very off-putting and overly ‘fishy’ odor – not in a good way. I will not be purchasing again – unless I hear there has been a change

These are INSANELY fishy. I thought maybe just the first piece I tried was like this but nope, it was the entire box. I had two tiny pieces the size of a quarter that were not overly fishy tasting. Love seafood but definitely not these.

2023 review. salt salt salt salt salt bread bread bread bread. no fish. If you have a heart condition don’t eat this stuff it will kill you. $11 and we tossed it. Too much like a salt lick. Couldn’t find the fish.

May 21, 2023. Not sure what these other people ate, but none of the comments they made applies at all to the fish that I just ate. Smooth, thin batter over 8 or 9 nice filets. They baked up crispy and had plenty of fish inside, vs just a bit of batter. No strong fishy odor or taste, and no bones either. I didn’t find mine to be overly salty. 1 ate almost the whole package by myself, and it’s back on my shopping list to go get more!

11.99 at my Trader Joes. Hadn’t read reviews and was so excited…Package has 2 portions of 3-4 small breaded pieces of halibut. Cooked per over directions. Cut into them… where’s the fish? The coating is as thick as a pie crust dough and barely any fish inside. I say ‘coating’ because it is definitely not a ‘breading’ or panko…it’s more like a batter, and not a very tasty batter either. Even with the high cost of the item I threw the rest out because I knew I would never eat it. Would not recommend.

These are NOT the same, wonderful battered halibut that they used to carry. I don’t know if it is because they are now gluten-free, but the breading on these is so thick, tough and mealy that you hardly taste the fish. These are not worth eating at all, much less at the price. Will return the remainder and hope they go back to the original ones.

These made me sick. Don’t get them.

Suffered for 4 hours after eating these. Thick breading and small pieces with small amount of fish. Definitely NOT Gluten Free.

Extremely disappointed. Tasted like old fish and salt. Can’t believe I wasted almost $12
