This is a wonderful kit for those who still enjoy the indulgence of shaving with blades, no matter what type.
One’s skin is left feeling smooth and renewed, as though fresh from a barber’s shop.
And there is something comforting in echoing an activity that ancestors may have once performed as a daily ritual.
My chief regret is being unable to find refills for the shaving soap and aftershave.
This product doesn’t seem to have been on Trader Joe’s shelves the last couple of years. I hope they will bring it back and offer refills as well.
