This sanitizer is uncomfortably sticky in application. The stickiness abates once it dries but it’s unpleasant at first. I also find the smell to be very unpleasant although again, the smell either abates as it dries or I am habituating to it. I unfortunately bought the 8 fl. oz. size so I’m out more money.

I love Trader Joe’s mist sanitizer so I thought I would feel the same about this gel. Not so much. I can’t get past the awful smell! I even tried putting a few drops of lemon essential oil in it, but that didn’t make a difference. The smell remains on my hands until I wash them with something different. I’m not noticing the stickiness as the other reviews claim, but that smell is enough for me to throw this out. I too purchased the 8 oz. size and being that I added the oil I won’t even try to return it. Please, Please change that awful odor!

Disappointed is sticky n smell . I brought the 8 oz wish they have sample to try before buying. But than again probably people won’t buy it.

It is sticky and its true it doesn’t smell good. I bought four bottles because I figured I couldn’t go wrong with a Trader Joe’s product. Well I was wrong this time. I didn’t save my receipts but I’m hoping I can return the three bottles that haven’t been opened. The opened one I’ll probably have to throw away.
BTW, their small spray hand sanitizer is great. I’ve bought a ton and have given some to friends. Today I noticed they had three in lavender and grabbed them all.

This hand sanitizer is a predator. There is no other word that suits it. It’s prey unsuspectingly slathers it on, not expecting to be pounced on by it’s excruciatingly horrendous stench. I’ve never smelt anything as offensive to my senses. I’d give a 0/5 if I could. I hope whoever approved this product trips on the stairs.
