TJ ribeyes are great – if a touch pricey. The marbling is consistent across the weeks & months (but vary slightly from cut to cut).
It tastes like meat (almost grassy / gamey) but in a good way. Like biting into a real apple after having apple flavored candy – you appreciate the real deal.
I stop at TJ just to get their meat. My partner is vegetarian & loves TJ – and it’s the beef cuts that started me shopping here – even when she was out of town.
Cornfed Candy garbage at Kroger is good in a pinch – but get a nice cut for yourself; pan sear a ribeye in a cast iron skillet w/ some butter, rosemary, & garlic clove – brother – you’ll appreciate the difference.

Absolutely disgusting and pricey! Does not taste like steak! I received as a gift and ended up throwing it out. It was that gross.
