This pre-cooked brown rice was surprisingly good. The texture was great — not too soft or too dry/hard. Actually a better texture than some brown rice seems to be, I think in part because of the grapeseed oil that’s used in cooking it. You can taste a hint of that.
Makes a pretty full bowl of rice – and the preparation is super quick and easy; you just tear the pouch open and throw it in the microwave for one minute and boom, bam, done. Much better than taking 10 – 45 minutes with uncooked rice on the stovetop.
Not that bad
Found in the frozen section, ready to eat after microwaving for around three minutes.
With red beans and tofu.
